To begin with, she understood that I needed to have the ceremony privately and intimately. When I first arrived, I was filled with nervousness, apprehension, tension, sadness, and a lifetime of unresolved issues. Almost immediately, I was put at ease by their calming presence and their ability to talk through things in a clear, objective, and grounded way. From the start, the environment felt safe, intentional, and deeply supportive—designed to help the nervous system truly reset.
The setting itself was perfect. The hotel sits atop a mountain overlooking the Pacific Ocean, creating an incredible sense of peace and perspective. The food was phenomenal, and the absence of TVs or outside distractions allowed me to fully disconnect and focus inward. It was exactly what I needed.
Since returning home, I no longer overthink every aspect of my life. I feel more driven, more confident in myself and my abilities, and genuinely filled with life and purpose. For the first time in a long time, I feel like I have control over my own destiny.

I feel an indescribable lightness in my legs, arms, feet and hands. The weight there is gone. The trauma there has been released! A friend has remarked that I have never looked so radiant and happy.
I have begun to heal the relationship with my own self which is all that matters at the end of the day. I come first. I fill up my own cup until it's overflowing. Only then can and will I share with others. The healing isn't over and I know that the toad isn't done with me yet. I'll be back. My story is a bit interesting , See this wasn’t something that I even new about, never heard of Bufo, or Kamba “ fog medicine “ ,until one day, I get a message from one of my guest staying at my B&B,
One this particular day, I had experienced extreme trauma from the hands of my husband, . Out of the blue I received a song that was sent to me “ I am”, from a stranger staying in my home. She said Wisdom told me to send it, yes I do have a strong connection with a tree.
Anyway needless to say, I asked my guest What are you doing in Costa Rica at my home she replied. I gave just completed my retreat with PluginMind.
She sent me the link and the first thing I said was my husband needs this without hesitation that begin some research. Then it was clear, I need this.
I struggled my entire life, wondering what and why I was always feeling so anxious.
Upon arrival within four days, I met with Niko and Karina on the beach for a consultation within minutes I knew that I could trust these humans with my body and soul.
I have to be honest It was the hardest thing I’ve ever done the ice bath. I thought it was going to kill me lol however totally necessary.
Kambo cleansed my body like I could never ever imagine.
With the meditation, the breath work the cleansing of kambo prepared me for a total soul, reset .
I set my intention with a whole heart to asking the medication , show me everything and do not leave anything out. That it did helping me remember exactly who I am , have always been and the strength of my light.
The release of the pain and trauma that I had been collecting and carrying was like 18 wheeler truck while the medicine insured me most of it was not mine.
Every day is brighter and full of love and peace . To this day, I continue to get support from Niko and Karina if you’re searching for healing, answers and you’re interested in full reset of your soul I highly recommend them.. love you dearly and thank you so much for such a great care.

What started as casual curiosity into alternative forms of healing (Bufo, Ayahuasca, etc) turned into a full blown, life-changing 5 day retreat.
Each program is custom tailored to the individual, starting out with uncovering your intentions for the journey. Through a combination of breathwork, ice baths, kambo, and bufo I finally found the peace and stillness that my ego had been obfuscating all of these years.
They are a beautiful family, beautiful healers, and beautiful souls.
There is so much more to share, but it would come at the expense of your own discovery. I can write, with complete confidence and happiness, that this is what you're looking for—it's profound, it's love, and it's life changing. It's difficult to imagine anyone providing a more impactful experience than these two wonderful human beings—I'm eternally grateful.
It is hard to describe the experience of consuming the medicine since it is so personal and subjective with every person. I can say that Karina and Niko, aka the lovely "cosmic doulas," and the other healers present including Donna and Steve give all of their love and support to you when you need it the most. I never truly understood what they did until I was experiencing the medicine, and truly depended on their presence and support. They are the ones you want present while experiencing a life-changing medicine that takes you to the true world, where there is no where to hide, having to commit to leaving your fears behind. I would not have wanted to be with any other beings while undertaking this experience.
I believe "cosmic doulas" are such an accurate term for Karina and Niko since I truly saw the universe in their eyes. I felt loved and supported by them, even after meeting them only earlier that day. Karina is such a nurturing, gentle and loving soul, who seems to know exactly what your feeling, and only wants the best for you. While Niko is a strong source of light and truth, and will gently nudge you to commit to this experience, helping you realize your true self.
Before, during and after the ceremony, I never felt embarrassment or shame, I truly felt I could be myself. After you leave, you will have a new family. And a new birthday. I feel connected with all who took part in this ceremony with me since we all witnessed each other releasing our fears and darkness and becoming true light and joy. I am grateful for all who were present.

I have been holding onto trauma from my childhood and I’ve been searching for a way to escape that my entire life. I’ve tried therapy. I’ve talked to other people about plant medicine when I was introduced to Karina and Niko I had an instant connection with feminine energy and masculine energy…. When I met them, they told me about the medicine that they serve and I knew it was fate. I had been researching this medicine and I knew immediately that the stars were aligning for us. They told me about an opportunity for me to join them in the medicine, and I immediately decided that I would.
